Rural Sales Representative

The KOTZUR GROUP of companies is a long established, successful family owned engineering/fabrication business with over 60 employees based in Toowoomba Qld and over 140 employees based in Walla Walla NSW. With clientele from all over Australia, we specialise in supplying and maintaining bulk solids storage and handling facilities for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.

We are looking for a Rural Sales Representative to join our team. The Rural Sales Representative is responsible for achieving Kotzur’s objective of providing clients with the best solutions for their bulk solids storage and handling needs.

Rural Sales Representatives are an integral part of Kotzur Group’s sales and marketing function. This will involve working with the wider Kotzur team to create leads, address sales enquiries, quote, negotiate orders and service existing customers.  Possessing a strong client focus and high quality communication skills you are an integral component of the team and a key contact for existing and prospective clients, suppliers and contractors.

About the role:

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Liaising with prospective and existing customers.
  • Prepare and send prompt pricing to perspective clients using the estimating tools provided
  • Liaise with other Kotzur Group staff members as required. This may include estimating, engineering, drafting, project management, sales, production, dispatch, finance and administration staff members 
  • Timely preparation and submission of weekly/monthly reports 
  • When required, liaise with fellow staff members to ensure customer orders are received, dispatched, and assembled in a timely manner.
  • Attendance at field days, trade shows and conferences.

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualified in relevant field.
  • At least three years experience in a similar role, ideally in a medium sized manufacturing business
  • Professionalism that aligns with the Kotzur Way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level organisational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to gain the trust of customers.
