APPLICATIONS

Kotzur Bulk Solids Handling Silo Unloader/Sweep has been designed and developed to suit our client requirements for safety, quality and dependability.

• No entry required to operate – until final hand sweep clean.
• Sweep drive permanently wired and switched from the outside [no need to carry a power lead in to operate sweep].
• Sweep pivots on a machined turntable.
• Sweep drive features an underfloor motor, heavy duty Flexible Jaw Coupling and a Bevel Helical Gearbox.
• Oversize inlets to assist the consistent flow of grain.
• Underfloor 50mm pipe access to the main outlet, allowing any blockages [eg. grain caking] to be broken up from outside the silo even when the silo is full.
• Grain inlets to under floor auger have controlled pitched flight.
• Inadvertent overloading of auger prevented by controlled auger feed – both centre and intermediate inlets.
• Inlet gates move on ball bearings to allow for easy operation.
• Slide gate operation via large diameter, rack and pinion hand wheel. Unique design to eliminate opening of intermediate gates until centre gate is fully open.

• Oscillating drive to sweep wheel
• Non-slip wheel to minimize tyre wear/ damage to silo floor.
• Spring controlled forward speed automatically adjusts to regulate grain volume.
• Weighted to provide consistent traction.
• Radiuses transition from under floor to inclined auger – minimises grain left in sweep after clean out.
• All external components hot dipped galvanized for durability.
