Employee Highlight – Yvette’s Story

Yvette McGeady joined the Kotzur team in Toowoomba in March 2017 as a Purchasing and Stores Manager. Over her seven years with the company, Yvette has gained valuable experience and knowledge of equipment by working at both the Toowoomba and Walla sites.

She also developed her time management and people skills, which ultimately led to her transition into the role of Project Manager based in Toowoomba.

Yvette credits the people she works with for guiding her development in the business. They have always been willing to answer her questions and provide support when needed. Additionally, her time spent at both sites played a significant role in her progression.

Taking on the Project Manager role is Yvette’s proudest achievement. While there have been steep learning curves and challenges along the way, the satisfaction of seeing happy customers makes it all worthwhile.

One of the aspects that Yvette enjoys the most about her role is the opportunity to meet new people and explore different parts of the country. She also values the supportive team she works with and the chance to learn something new every day.

Yvette believes that the industry she works in is an integral part of Australia, it is a great field to be in. She encourages anyone considering a role in the industry to take the leap, as you never know where it might lead you.
