About the role
Are you a passionate and experienced WHSE professional ready to make a significant impact? We're hiring a WHSE Manager to lead our safety initiatives, advise teams, and foster a strong safety culture.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Walla Walla, NSW (30 minute drive from Albury).

What you'll be doing

  • Provide expert advice and coaching on Health, Safety & Risk.

  • Drive continuous improvement in WHSE performance and systems.

  • Identify emerging safety trends and facilitate change.

  • Help our teams work safely and manage workers' compensation.

  • Coach and train our people (including leaders) on safety.

  • Conduct site visits, audits, and lead risk assessments.

  • Collaborate with management to drive a positive WHSE culture

  • Report on hazards, incidents, and overall safety performance.

What we're looking for

  • Experience: Circa 5 years in a WHSE role, ideally in manufacturing.

  • Education: Tertiary qualification in Work/Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.

  • Knowledge: Strong grasp of WHS legislation, standards, and best practices.

  • Skills: Proven analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills to drive behavioural change. Certification in incident investigation.

  • To be successful: You can flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution. You thrive in an environment where you get stuff done sustainably
