WHSE Manager

About the role
Are you a passionate and experienced WHSE professional ready to make a significant impact? We're hiring a WHSE Manager to lead our safety initiatives, advise teams, and foster a strong safety culture.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Walla Walla, NSW (30 minute drive from Albury).
What you'll be doing

Provide expert advice and coaching on Health, Safety & Risk.

Drive continuous improvement in WHSE performance and systems.

Identify emerging safety trends and facilitate change.

Help our teams work safely and manage workers' compensation.

Coach and train our people (including leaders) on safety.

Conduct site visits, audits, and lead risk assessments.

Collaborate with management to drive a positive WHSE culture

Report on hazards, incidents, and overall safety performance.
What we're looking for

Experience: Circa 5 years in a WHSE role, ideally in manufacturing.

Education: Tertiary qualification in Work/Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.

Knowledge: Strong grasp of WHS legislation, standards, and best practices.

Skills: Proven analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills to drive behavioural change. Certification in incident investigation.
