KOTZUR is growing. We are a progressive engineering/fabrication business with employees based in Toowoomba QLD, and Walla Walla NSW.

We are a specialist manufacturer of mechanical handling equipment for the agricultural, industrial and mineral resource industries.

We are seeking a Trades Assistant to join our team at our new Charlton, Toowoomba manufacturing plant.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Helping all teams site wide - boilermaking, fabricating, assembly, silo build, stores, despatch, yard

  • Using tools (or learning how to)

  • Working safely and efficiently – solo or in a team

  • Taking pride in every job and following the lead of your leading hand

  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes

 What we're looking for:

  • Experience or exposure to manufacturing, production, mechanical or warehousing

  • Current Vehicle and Forklift licence and experience in operating a forklift

  • A can do, positive, and cooperative attitude, and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work safely and responsibly and report hazards

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
