About the role
Are you a seasoned heavy fabricator with a passion for precision and quality?

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Heavy Fabricator to join our dynamic team and participate in complex fabrication projects with confidence and expertise.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Walla Walla, NSW (30 minute drive from Albury).

What you'll be doing

  • Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications

  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld heavy steel components

  • Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards

  • Mentor junior fabricators/apprentices and contribute to team development

  • Collaborate with production supervisors, engineers and project managers to meet deadlines

What we're looking for

You will ideally be someone with:

  • Proven experience in heavy steel fabrication (minimum 5 years)

  • Proficiency in MIG welding in both mild and stainless steels.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Overhead crane experience (preferred)

  • Trade qualification in fabrication or welding
