Field Maintenance Technician
KOTZUR is growing. We are a progressive engineering/fabrication business with employees based in Toowoomba QLD, and Walla Walla NSW.
We are a specialist manufacturer of mechanical handling equipment for the agricultural, industrial and mineral resource industries.
With clients all over Australia and overseas, we specialise in supplying and maintaining bulk solids storage and handling facilities for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.
We are seeking energetic, customer focused achievers to join our Toowoomba based team as a Field Maintenance Technician, assisting with the operation of Kotzur Maintenance Services (KMS).
KMS offers ongoing maintenance support for grain storage and handling systems within the agricultural sector.
You will be executing scheduled maintenance programs that minimise downtime during critical periods, as well as breakdown services and site repairs.
By undertaking field work and providing comprehensive condition reports on silo and conveyor equipment, you will play an important role in supporting our customers operations.
Typical work includes but is not limited to:

Bearing inspection and replacement

Adjustment of belts and chains

Trouble shooting and repairing feed auger issues

Repairing and replacing chutes
-
Minor installation work
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance inspections on structural and mechanical equipment

Repairs, including mechanical, welding and fabrication

Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure job requirements are met

Relevant documentation completion and management
-
Collaborate within the KMS team to provide excellent client outcomes
Skills and Experience:
-
Trade qualified preferred but not essential - Fitter, Boiler Maker, or other Mechanical trade

Problem solver, can do attitude

Great with clients
-
Ability to regularly travel for work

Attend or work from site in the Toowoomba factory (Kotzur) as needed
