About the role

Kotzur is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support a major digital transformation and help establish our enterprise data architecture. This is a 12-month engagement working 2-3 days per week. We are open to engaging the right person either as a part-time maximum-term employee or under a contractor/consultancy arrangement.

This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity to shape how data is governed, structured, integrated and used across our business. Working across D365, Smart Silo, Engineering, Manufacturing and Corporate functions, you will help build the foundations for trusted information, scalable systems, improved decision-making, automation, analytics and future digital innovation.

What you'll be doing

You will help make data a trusted strategic asset by developing clear standards, governance frameworks, ownership models, integration patterns and common data structures across Kotzur’s technology landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing Kotzur’s enterprise data architecture

  • Defining data standards, system-of-record principles and integration patterns

  • Supporting data governance, ownership, stewardship and quality practices

  • Establishing common data models across key business areas

  • Providing architecture guidance for major technology initiatives

  • Shape the foundations for reporting, analytics, automation, AI and future digital products

What you’ll bring

Strong experience in:

  • Enterprise data architecture and data governance

  • Master data management and data modelling

  • Integration architecture and API design

  • ERP data architecture, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Microsoft Azure, Fabric, Power BI or similar analytics platforms

  • Manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, IoT or operational data environments

  • Influencing senior stakeholders and supporting business transformation
