Plant Manager

Location: Walla Walla, NSW

The KOTZUR GROUP is a market leading engineering/fabrication business with about 130 employees based in Walla Walla NSW (30 minute drive from Albury) and 50 employees based in Toowoomba QLD.  With clientele from all over Australia and overseas, we specialise in the provision of bulk solids storage and handling facilities for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations in our Walla Walla factory.

The Plant Manager is responsible for achieving the Company’s objective of producing timely, cost effective and quality product outcomes in a safe and effective manner. Key accountabilities will include leading and managing the Production, Maintenance Assets and Continuous Improvement, and Production Control and Procurement teams. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will cultivate and maintain a work environment aligned with The Kotzur Way – respect, fairness, integrity, care, prudence and innovation.

The Plant Manager is a key member of the leadership team and is expected to proactively contribute to the business strategy and the culture of accountability within the group in achieving superior business outcomes.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for driving innovative production practices and the execution of initiatives that improve quality and productivity in the manufacturing environment. This will include working closely with the Continuous Improvement Team to identify efficiencies and drive LEAN outcomes.

The successful candidate will ideally hold tertiary and/or trade qualifications in engineering or industrial technology or another relevant field as well as possessing at least five years experience in a similar role in a medium sized manufacturing environment.
