On-Ground Silos

APPLICATIONS

On-Ground Sealed Silos are purpose built for long term grain storage. Kotzur silos are gas tight sealed to the Australian Standard AS2628 to allow effective phosphine or controlled atmosphere fumigation for insect pest eradication. As stand alone silos, they can store over 8,000 T, and much more when incorporated in commercial grain storage systems.

Kotzur On-Ground Sealed Silos are suitable for:

  • Medium/Long term grain storage with phosphine or controlled atmosphere fumigation of insect pests.
  • As a “hospital” silo for pest eradication of infested grain.
  • Commercial grain storage system.

  1. Wheat capacity based on typical consolidated/compacted bulk density in silo.
  2. Max. Load based on engineering design for wheat at 920 kg/m3 – this load will vary for products with differing properties.
  3. Overall height allows for 400 mm concrete height – this will vary with unloader options.
  4. Auger lengths are indicative only and are based on 35° angle. As differing auger brands elevate to different angle, always check individual auger height.
